ABOUT DENNIS

Dennis was born in Texas and went to school in Virginia. Ever since he was a little kid, he felt attracted to the beautiful and empty outdoors. He finished his school career with an Master of Arts in International Relations.

From 1982 to 2002 he served in the United States Air Force as a Special Operations Navigator. He airdropped Army and Navy Special Forces. He felt great pride in serving his country and decided that until the end of his life, he will try to serve his country in one capacity or another.

"After 20 years of Active-duty flying, I could have chosen any place in the world. I chose a place that honors freedom and open spaces - I found these attributes in Wyoming and settled there."
Upon settling in Sheridan, he immediately went to work for his community and was fighting the state-wide food tax. He was part of the effort to get it abolished in 2006. In 2013, he continued his mission and successfully stopped the property tax hike. After seeing the Wyoming state legislation drifting away from the core constitutional values and the push to increase taxes, Dennis thought it was time to take the fight to Cheyenne.

"I strongly believe in low taxes and the benefits they will bring to our communities, especially nowadays amid the COVID-19 pandemic."
